Defervescence ("the App") is developed and operated by MaatriAI Solutions Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Defervescence, you agree to the practices described here.

Defervescence is designed to help parents and caregivers track a child's fever readings and medicine administration over time. It is intended to be used by adults on behalf of a child in their care.
Account information. When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID to create and secure your account.
Health tracking information you enter. This includes:
Voice recordings. If you use the voice entry feature to log a temperature or medicine, your voice recording is processed to extract the relevant details (such as the reading or medicine name and dose) and is not stored after processing.
We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. All information is entered by the adult using the App.
We do not use the health information you enter for advertising, and we do not sell your data to third parties.
Your data is stored using Supabase (database and authentication infrastructure) and served via Vercel (hosting infrastructure). These providers act as our data processors and are contractually and technically responsible for securing the infrastructure on which your data resides.

To delete your Defervescence account and all associated data:
What gets deleted: your account information (name, email, Google account ID), all fever and temperature readings, all medicine entries, any patient names or pseudonyms you entered, and any reports you generated.
What may be retained: we aim to delete your data promptly upon a verified request. In limited cases we may retain: (a) transaction records, if you made any in-app purchases, as required under Indian tax and accounting law, and (b) minimal technical logs briefly, for fraud and abuse prevention. No fever, medicine, or patient information is retained once your request has been processed.
We retain your data for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide the App's functionality. If you request account deletion, we follow the process and retention limits described above.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Defervescence is intended for use by adults tracking a child's health information, not for direct use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through account creation or app use.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
